For those of you born in the late 80's and 90's you may have not gotten the chance to really study about The Black Revolution and all of those that came before you that paved the way. Yes, we all have heard of the Notorious Black Panthers and some you of may have even seen the movie Panther with Ice cube(It was pretty good). But who were the Black Panthers? And why were they so angry? You may ask" Why did they wear all black and walk around with guns?"

Well folks as with everything, there is more than meets the eye!!! FYI.....................

In January, 1969, The first Panther's Free Breakfast for School Children Program is initiated at St. Augustine's Church in Oakland. By the end of the year, the Panthers set up kitchens in cities across the nation, feeding over 10,000 children every day before they went to school. We all learn something new everyday.

Bill Hampton the brother of the slain Fred Hampton hosted a celebration documenting , remembering, and teaching about what Fred Hampton truly cherished. With the anniversary coming up and Chicago's youth in peril, education and the spirit of life is a much needed lifesaver.
